The Team at REAL Solutions are highly trained Conflict Navigators: specialists in finding fast, less costly and more effective means to resolve issues.
Conflict Navigators are professionals and practitioners who are trained to act as co-pilots for those who want to fight with wisdom through change and with more power, control, calm and confidence. We’re proud to be the home of The Conflict Navigator.
The Conflict Navigator program, toolbox and designation develops conflict and coaching specialists who support corporate, community and constituency leaders, change agents, negotiators, project leaders, champions and managers. These partners want a wise, objective, highly trained and experienced third party onboard to give them perspective, awareness of dangers and hazards and a sense (and source) of calm as they connect the dots with power, control and confidence.
We train qualified people to be, or support people who need, a Conflict Navigator. Read on to learn more about the program and learning or coaching packages.
What is Conflict Navigation?
Anyone exposed to the benefits and high levels of satisfaction with effective conflict management or “ADR” (alternative dispute resolution, e.g., mediation, facilitation, conflict coaching) becomes a convert. Why would anyone oppose faster, cheaper, more effective means to fix issues?
We all know disputes (which are normal in every day and walk of life), and we know they can go poorly or unresolved in ways that bog work and life progress down. When problems and ‘problem people’ go away and resolutions do go well, the emotions and escalated, oppositional behaviors are healthily resolved. Conflict Navigation is the blend of tools, technique and experience that allows for effective, efficient and consist conflict management with power, control, calm and confidence.
Why Conflict Navigation?
Conflict Navigators are highly disciplined, trained and equipped. Their tools and experience come from across the conflict option spectrum (see the graphic on the right), allowing them to map, analyze and reflect values and support a client fast.
Remarkably, the speed in Conflict Navigation affects even difficult to overcome challenges with:
- self-confidence and esteem
- lack of vision, results, success
- chronic frustration
- career choice, change or concerns
- workplace, intra or inter group conflicts
- organizational change
- strategic barriers
- decision making
- fear of success
- fear of failure
- overall quality of life concerns
- relationships with others
- health and fitness needs
- emptiness in life and career
- workplace conflicts
These services can be one time or program based and are completely confidential. Similar to coaching, Conflict Navigation is not counseling and is not a replacement for counseling.
Conflict Navigators support and enhance change management and organizational development, consulting, mediation, coaching – they help people recognize ways through and out of rough circumstances – or, on occasion to rock the boat! While such change and resolution services and alternatives have always been available, and coaches and consultants have been “packaging” them as professional services since the 1970s, Conflict Navigators are uniquely qualified and trained to speed results, improve control and enhance confidence in solution and decision making.
Finding mutually agreeable ways of resolving disputes is a preferable option for most people – why?
Effectively negotiated or facilitated outcomes are faster, more in your control, more satisfying and importantly, good learning and relationship building. Avoiding, or handing a dispute over to authorities for resolution can mean the issues and frustration languish for weeks, months and not unusually, years. Collaboration means using, regaining and retaining your own power, ensuring your interests are met and often exceeded: conflict is frequently a trigger or turning point toward better circumstances if effectively used as such.
Conflict Navigation in Organizations

- Stopping or preventing Conflict Escalation
- Change Management, Buy-In and Orientation
- Stress Management
- Job Performance Issues
- Onboarding
- More Job and Project Satisfaction
- Improved Use of Time
- Best Use of Personal Development / Career Confidence
- Conquering Overwhelm
